Editorial Illustration for the german newspaper der Freitag.

I was asked to draw a sad “Maya the Bee” sundae for their debate opener. The text is very personal and emotional, as the author remembers his childhood growing up in a working class family and working in an ice cream parlor after school. The text is accompanied by a quiz, for which I also drew some additional fun stuff related to the sad ice cream theme.
